Ricky and Olivia create three recipes using Planet Shrimp's sustainably farmed crustaceans.

Ricky Casipe and Olivia Simpson haven't been at it for long, but their dance card always seems to be full. The creative and gregarious chefs first met while working at Hawthorne Food and Drink, and after working in several notable kitchens, they soon found they wanted to chart their own path. In 2018, they started their own company, Ricky+Olivia, and have had a full itinerary hosting pop-up dinners, FeastOn events and collaboration dinners, celebrating the wealth of ingredients they source from their host locations — farms, wineries and producers — ever since. Most recently Casipe and Simpson can be found at Westcott Vineyards in Jordan Station. They've teamed up with the winery to create a menu that leverages Niagara's rich agriculture and complements Westcott's award-winning wines. But they took a break to dance with us, creating the following recipes featuring Planet Shrimp's sustainably farmed crustaceans.
