Surrounded by an abundance of orchards and vineyards, it's no surprise that Niagara is Ontario's most established wine region with more than 120 wineries producing a wide range of varietals.
But there is more to the area than wonderful wineries. St. Catharines, the Niagara Benchlands, Jordan Station, Lincoln, Beamsville and Niagara-on-the-Lake are also home to excellent farm-to-table dining, roadside farm stands bursting with locally grown fruit and vegetables (in-season), cheesemakers, craft breweries and distilleries. You will be spoiled for choice, so make a plan or be sure to stay a few days.
