Raised in a family of passionate food lovers, Linda Barnard is an award-winning film and travel writer who believes the table is the best way to get to know a place or people. Her travels have led to stories - and memorable food - all over the world. A former restaurant critic and cocktail columnist, her freelance work has appeared in national and international magazines, newspapers and websites, along with Edible Toronto and Edible Vancouver Island. She lives in Victoria, BC.
